Personalised Wooden Keepsake Box - With Collage Design. Stillbirth / Baby Loss / SIDS / Miscarriage

This is an extremely special & personal keepsake box to hold all of the very precious items that you have in memory of your baby. All boxes are made by hand using only high quality materials.

With this option, you can have a number of images infused onto the lid of your keepsake box, which is done in such a way that means your image will not scratch or mark and will last forever. You can have a photo of your baby, a scan picture, handprints or footprints taken by the midwife at the hospital.

Please note that this keepsake box is for up to six pictures and your choice of wording to be fully designed and then transferred onto the lid of your keepsake box

The picture you can see is the collage Ruth designed for us in memory of our beautiful Alexandra and I have to say it was a very emotional journey we travelled together while coming up with a design that means such alot to us and is the most beautiful box I have ever seen.

I look at the collage created by Ruth more of a story than a collage really & hope by sharing our design we can help you think about images you could use that will create a collage that will be as unique and special to you and your own personal circumstances, as every collage of course will tell it's own story.

The first picture is of my husband and I just a couple of months before we found out we were pregnant with Alexandra. How naive and happy we were back then!

The second picture of my husband and I is our wedding day, just a few months after losing Alexandra. Despite not being there in person, she was such a huge part of our day as of course she is every day in everything we do.

Nestled inbetween these two pictures of us is our beautiful little girl just after she was born sleeping. It feels very appropriate that she is there in the middle as a part of us all together. We have no pictures of us all together and this is so special for us.

Above this is a picture on me when I was pregnant with Alexandra. I was very happy and proud of my bump and beside me there is her 12 week scan picture.

Above this is the stone we had made to mark her grave. She is buried with my granddad so it feels nice to know she is not alone.

Alexandra's name is in pink and fluttering around her name and the box lid are little butterflies. Butterflies are particularly significant to us as Alexandra's daddy was best man at a wedding the day after her funeral, which was of course a really difficult time for him. During the wedding service at the church, a butterfly was fluttering around him the whole time (this was in October!) Since then we often see butterflies and they randomly will land on Alexandra's daddy. We like to think of her being around us when we see a butterfly.

This collage is so very special and I can not think of a more fitting way to decorate a keepsake box that will hold all of the precious things we have in her memory.

As you can see from the pictures, you can have a message to your baby inside the lid of this keepsake box and can also choose to have your baby's foot and handprints by the side of your message if you like. For our collage, after trying many different ways, we felt that the images shown looked just right as they are and so Alexandra's hand and footprints would look so much nicer on the inside.

With this keepsake box the price includes Ruth sending you a proof of your design before even starting to make your keepsake box to ensure that it is just perfect for you and to allow you to ask for any changes that you would like. She will not begin making your box until you are 100% happy with the design. There may be an extra charge for more than three changes (particularly for complete design changes), but we will be in close contact with you to discuss this as your box is being made.

How to place your order

Please note the price will change according to the options you choose. Simply answer the questions asked above:

1. Choose what size keepsake box your would like.
2. Choose "yes" or "no" as to whether you would like a message on the inside lid of your keepsake box and also whether you would like your baby's foot / handprints inside too. At a maximum, Ruth can fit 15 words inside these keepsake boxes (you can choose not to have a message if you like).
3. If you have chosen "yes" to having a message inside, then let us know what message you would like (absolute maximum 15 words)
4. Choose the font you would like if applicable.
   
5. Please tell us any ideas you might have about the design and how many images you are sending. Also let us know any colours or wording that you would like included on the top lid design and if you have something that is significant to you like the butterflies are for us.
   
6. Once you have placed your order, then please email the images you would like included on the lid and inside the lid of your keepsake box to info@alexandrasangelgifts.co.uk - To get the best quality, please send us the largest size image that you have for a photo, or an exact copy using a scan machine of any footprints / handprints or scan pictures.
