Handcrafted & Personalised Using Your Own Image Large Wooden Keepsake Box. Stillbirth / Baby Loss / SIDS / Miscarriage

This is an extremely special & personal keepsake box to hold all of the very precious items that you have in memory of your baby. All boxes are made by hand using only high quality materials.

With this option, you can have your own image infused onto the lid of your keepsake box, which is done in such a way that means your image will not scratch or mark and will last forever. You can have a photo of your baby, a scan picture, handprints / footprints taken by the midwife at the hospital (as shown in the picture with Alexandra's footprints), or you can even have a collage of all of these images.

There is an extra charge for pictures that need to be altered in some way. The cheapest price reflects the cost of one picture to be blown up and infused onto the lid of a keepsake box exactly as it is, with no work at all needed. If you would like this option, then please choose "1 x picture - no work required" (please read the options below before deciding)

There is another option to choose if there is work to be done to your picture. For example, you may have footprints and handprints that you would like to go onto your keepsake box or Ruth may need to crop, soften or enhance your picture to ensure it fits seamlessly onto the box. If you are unsure, please send us your image beforehand for Ruth's advice. Another example would be if you had a scan picture, it may become distorted if blown up to the full size of the lid, so Ruth may do a different design, perhaps framing your scan picture with soft focus edges on the lid and then adding the name to the lid instead. If you would just like Ruth to take your image and design the keepsake box the way she thinks would look best, then please choose the option "1 x picture - work required". We will then email you with a proof image of Ruth's design for you to confirm if ok, before your box is made x

If you have a number of images (up to 8) that you would like worked into a collage, then please choose "collage of pictures" and Ruth will design your box. Again, we will email you with a proof image for you to confirm is ok, before your box is made x

We are very aware of how precious your images are and so please be assured that they will be very safe x

To get the best quality, please send us the largest size image that you have for a photo, or an exact copy using a scan machine of any footprints / handprints or scan pictures.

Your babies first name will be handpainted either onto the side or lid of your keepsake box depending on the design and a personal message inside if you wish (there is an extra charge for a message to be painted on the inside).

Please note that Ruth can fit 15 words on the inside of the box as a maximum. If you would like one of our poems, we can send you a little poem card to go inside your special box. Just let us know which one you would like in the other information / special requests box when you order.
