A keepsake box is so precious after losing a baby and looking through the few things we have left and all the cards and small gifts given by caring family & friends is always such an emotional experience.
We started Alexandra's Angel Gifts by offering to create memorial boxes for other bereaved parents and we were overwhelmed by the comfort that these keepsake boxes brought to others. It made us realise how difficult it was to find special gifts in memory of our babies. Over time, our collection has extended to many other special items and we are very grateful to all the talented artists, and crafts people who have agreed to work with us to bring these very precious gifts that continue to acknowledge our babies everlasting impact on our lives and allow us to include them in all that we do.
Websites dedicated to gifts in memory of our little ones are few and far between, which can mean trawling through new baby websites to try and find the perfect gift. A heartbreaking thing to have to do when all you want is to hold your own baby. We very much hope we have created a safe and comforting place to be for bereaved parents, family members and friends also experiencing this devastating loss, whether that be by finding a special gift or idea, inspiration to make something yourself, lighting a candle for your baby, or simply realising you are not alone.
Where stated, a small amount from the items handcrafted by ourselves goes towards our boxes for hospitals project. Details of how much are on each of the item's descriptions.
We understand just how difficult it can be to place an order with us and many have said they have struggled to see the keyboard through the tears when doing so.
