 The inspiration behind Alexandra's Angel Gifts began in memory of our beautiful daughter, Alexandra Grace who was born peacefully sleeping on 22nd September 2006. I looked everywhere for a keepsake box, that would be special to us and after not being able to find anything suitable, decided to make my own.
Our daughter's keepsake box is so very precious to us, as her few items are all we have left. Looking through Alexandra's box is always an emotional experience and it means such a lot to us to have somewhere so personal and special to hold all her little things.
I have since began creating memorial boxes for other bereaved parents and I have been overwhelmed by the comfort that these unique keepsake boxes have brought to others. My collection has now extended to personalised albums, jewellery, cards and journals.
I have also met some lovely angel's mummies who make beautiful items in memory of their babies too. We know how very precious gifts are for our angels and how important special dates are to us. Working together we hope to be able to bring together this collection of personalised gifts, lovingly handmade by angel's mummies, that can help to bring just a small amount of comfort and also offer some links to support that have been helpful to us. Deborah, Mummy to angel Ronan who was born asleep 12th May 2007. Deborah personalises and handcrafts beautiful cards in memory of our angels. Emma, Mummy to Angel Oliver, who was born sleeping 10th February 2008. Emma also creates and personalises gorgeous cards and has recently started doing this in memory of her beautiful little boy.
